Employment Requirements

The following qualifications apply to Title XXII regulations and are required for non-State funded childcare centers and preschools.

Director

  • 12 units early childhood education, including child growth and development, child, family and community and programs/curriculum.
  • 3 units child care administration or parent/staff relations
  • Experience (one of the following):
  • Four years experience and a High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience and an AA degree
  • 1 year experience and a BA degree.
