  • A total of 5-6 units in electives must be taken over the two-year period. Students may select from elective offerings during any semester.
  • ECE 058, 059 and 150 are offered every other year. They should be taken during the year offered.
  • First Aide/CPR may be taken any semester.  See your advisor.
  • ECE 051 and ECE 055 alternate each year. You are only required to take one for the certificate or the AA. This course should be taken in year 2.
  • Cooperative Work Experience in ECE is recommended the third semester if you are not employed at a child development facility.
  • A minimum of 6 units general education must be taken each semester to complete the AA in two years.
